R is reliable and useful for research data analysis for many years. R is widely used for research and industry because it provided various statistical tools for analysis.
Tidyverse is a R package that bundles several preprocessed packages that makes data wrangling a lot more easier. Its famous ggplot2 package is most famous for data visualizations and provides aesthetic visualizations that cater to all the data operations.
Course Objectives
- Learners will be able to apply R data analysis and visualization tools to analyse research data

- prepare and transform data for analysis
- summarise data with descriptive statistics
- perform quantitative data analysis

Skills Framework
This course follows the guideline of Analysis of Research Data HCE-DAT-4008-1.1 TSC under Healthcare Skills Framework
Certification
Two e-certificates will be awarded to trainees who have demonstrated competency in the WSQ assessment and achieved at least 75% attendance.
- A SkillsFuture WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by WSG. Typically will take 3-4 weeks.
- Certification of Achievement issued by Tertiary Infotech Pte Ltd issued after the class.
WSQ Funding
WSQ funding is only applicable to Singaporeans and PR. Subject to eligibility, the funding support is subjected to funding caps.
