Course Objectives

The Make Basic Cakes unit is suitable for aspiring pastry cooks and individuals who would like to upgrade their skills and knowledge in basic cake preparation. This unit will teach learners the methods and techniques to bake basic cakes such as Cheesecakes, Chiffon, Butter ,Sponge, Hokkaido Cupcakes and Non-Bake Cheese Cakes are delicious and yet simple to master. This unit will equip learners with the knowledge and applications skills to Make Basic Cakes.

Cool and store finished products

Reinstate work station in accordance with organisational procedures, food and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements
