The accounting and financial industries have adopted Python at a tremendous rate recently, with some of the largest investment banks and hedge funds using it to build core trading and risk management systems.
Course Objectives
Learners will be able to code and execute Python programs on financial data to meet business requirements.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, learners will be able to
- apply Python programming to meet business requirements
- code data types and operators.
- organize codes using conditional and loop for problem-solving
- code Python functions and scripts for business use cases
- code import and prepare finance data using Python Pandas package
- test Python codes with aggregation and visualization
- improve and document Python codes to analyse finance data

Certification
Two e-certificates will be awarded to trainees who have demonstrated competency in the WSQ assessment and achieved at least 75% attendance.
- A SkillsFuture WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by WSG. Typically will take 3-4 weeks.
- Certification of Completion issued by Tertiary Infotech Pte Ltd issued after the class.
WSQ Funding
WSQ funding is only applicable to Singaporeans and PR. Subject to eligibility, the funding support is subjected to funding caps.
